Tuna Fried Noodles

Tuna Fried Noodles is a quick and tasty noodle dish made with noodles, canned tuna, fresh vegetables, and simple sauces. It is easy to prepare and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:-

  • Noodles – 200 g
  • Canned tuna – 1 can (about 150–160 g), drained
  • Onion – 1 small, sliced
  • Carrot – 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Capsicum – ½, sliced
  • Cabbage – 1 cup, finely chopped
  • Garlic – 2–3 cloves, chopped
  • Soy sauce – 1–2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Cooking oil – 1–2 tbsp
  • Spring onion – for garnishing

Tips:-

  • Do not overcook the noodles. Cook them until just tender, drain well, and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.

Instructions:-

  • Cook the noodles: Boil noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and keep aside.
  • Prepare the vegetables: Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add garlic and onion and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add carrot, capsicum, and cabbage: Stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes while keeping the vegetables slightly crunchy.
  • Add tuna: Add the drained canned tuna and gently mix with the vegetables.
  • Add sauces: Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper, and a little salt. Mix well.
  • Add noodles: Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
  • Garnish: Add chopped spring onions and serve hot.
